NOTE: Dogs Are NOT Allowed On Any Beach Areas!

Dogs are not allowed on all beach areas at Rooster Rock State Park, including Sand Island, however, the park has a designated off-leash area for your pet. This area is located next to the boat basin and dogs are allow in the water here.  A leash no longer than 6 feet is required elsewhere in the park. Spring at Rooster Rock is where spring fever happens. Imagine the first warm, sunny days of spring where meadows of wild roses and the spicy scent of Oregon grape combine with an endless panorama of the Cascade mountains, blue sky and the deep blue waters of the Columbia River.
