Champoeg State Park

State Park Day Use Fees/Permits Required – $3 daily day-use fee or buy a 12-month permit for $25 or a 24-month permit for $40. These 1- and 2-year permits are good at all state park day-use areas. You and your human are invited to walk or bike along the Willamette River and catch a glimpse of park wildlife, including western bluebirds. Camp and picnic amid a dense stand of Oregon oak and ash trees. Play disc golf, or go fishing and canoeing. Or just relax and take in the entire scene.  Champoeg features a unique combination of history, nature, and recreation. This is the site where Oregon's first provisional government was formed by a historical vote in 1843. Services/Features Available at Champoeg State Park
