When former Geologist,   former Special Education Teacher  Marc Dunn decided he want a career where he Nature's Pet Eugene Dogscould spend more time with his dogs,  be found the perfect solution with Nature's Pet Market.  Marc's interest in healthy foods for pets started as a kid,  when is dog was chosen to test out the original IAM's dog food.

Like all Nature's Pet Markets,  the Eugene store is all about customer service,  and quality, featuring many organic and natural foods,  as well as local products.    You will find some differences at the Eugene store,  starting with the fact the store is open 365 days a year.  Since Marc has no family local and he would feel guilty asking his employees to work on holidays,  he and his two dogs staff the store on holidays.

Ellie and Jaxx,  Marc's two dogs who help out at the store everyday,  don't seem to mind at all that their store has a large feline clientele.  Nearly 1/3 of the sales at this store are of cat products,  way above average.

Nature's Pet EugeneEllie  loves having the adoptable cats in the store,  her post is right next to the cat enclosure, where she keeps a eye out to make sure all is well for them,  occasional giving them a little extra attention with a warm fury place to nap.

Popular products,  include the Dogma Beds,  which are  made by St. Vincent de Paul workers who are blind.    You will also find a wide selection of natural remedies,  raw foods  and of course Oregon Duck Gear.  A huge favorite is the Packable Rain Poncho for pets.
