STAM Dog Treats

STAM Dog TreatsSTAM has been producing grain-free dog treats commercially since 2007. We started out as others do – in a shared commercial kitchen. In 2009, we moved into our own dedicated bakery in Wood Village; and not a day too soon.

We have two dogs: Sammy big boy and Princess Stella cookie pants (shown left). Sam has no allergies and Stella is allergenic to just about everything. We couldn’t find treats suitable for Stella so we started making our own. We would share our extras with friends and soon after, STAM was born. We don’t have baking backgrounds so we didn’t have preconceived notions of what needed to go into our products. We read for several months in search of ingredients we wanted our dogs to have. We read everything from veterinary journals to animal science textbooks to nutrition discussions on-line.
