Some days it’s just too hot to go to the dog park.  Even the most energetic of dogs will seek out the shade and the cool grass on a hot day.  Even Lady looses interest in running and playing when it gets too warm,  but I know the girls need their exercise. 

You could get up at 4:00 a.m.  and  head out to the dog park at dawn,  after  all what’s a few hours sleep.   By the way,  I don’t recommend waking Fido up that early,  she can get really grumpy,  and even a Starbuck’s triple shot isn’t going to get me functioning that early.  There is always the dog beaches, at Mary S. Young, or Sandy River Delta,  sure two, hot, wet muddy dogs are just what I want in my car. Read the rest of this entry
