The portraits, part of a series called the good old dog project, celebrate the fortitude of dogs approaching the end of their life.

The dogs that struggle to get around, especially  a strike a cord in my heart. More than once, I have had to fight back tears while photographing geriatric dogs. Each time I document old dogs, I am struck by their unique charm, special beauty, and their strong determination and can’t help but fall in love.
