Description: PetUtopia's 1st Annual Fall Carnival features K9 Nosework classes, TTouch sessions for both pets and people, Agility demonstrations and confidence runs, ask the vet, pet(s) portraits, pet massages, insights to your pet(s) quirkiness, a session on gardening with pets in
mind, dog nail trims, with a grand finale by the incredible Beaverton Police K9 unit demonstrating their skills!
- You and your dog can participate in the latest sport in our "Try It Out" K9 Nosework Classes, with Joyce Biethan, Cooperative Dog Training, at 10 am, and 12 pm, $20. Preregistration is required. Go to: http://cooperatived
ogtraining. com/contact- information - Lauren McCall and Debby Potts of Integrated Animal, will give you A Taste of TTouch, with a 20 minute TTouch session on you AND your dog for $15, from 10 am – 2 pm. http://integratedan
imal.com/ index.shtml - Pet Communicator Faye Pietrokowsky will give you insights on your pet(s) from 10 am – 2 pm with sessions 10 min./$20, 15 min./$30, 20 min./$40.
- Jim Stulting Photography will capture your pet in a portrait, from 10 am – 2 pm. You take home a CD of at least 6 images for $30.
- Your 2 legged kids will have fun, too, with activities just for them, from 10 am – 3 pm, tattoos, doggie headbands, and wagon rides.
- You can get your dog's nails trimmed for $5 from 10 am – 2 pm.
- Bobbie Lyons of Pawsitive Performance will demonstrate how to use agility equipment, and will help you and your dog through the course, $3/run from 11 am – 2pm.
- Ron Field, landscape designer, will give a talk on gardening with pets in mind at 11 am.
- Dogs Gone Dancin' will show you what it's like to dance with your dog!
- Of course, we'll have food for pets and people, shopping, doggie contests, and some fabulous raffle prizes!
- Meet Fido and Lady of FidosCityGuide.
PetUtopia requests that you bring a donation of a unopened pet food, and/or gently used pet gear to donate to The Portland Animal Welfare Team. These donations and a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to The PAW Team. Donations of unopened/unexpired people food will go to the Greater Portland Bible Church pantry to help those in need.
