I have been looking on the internet for a while for schutzhund clubs in florida. I have not came across any. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites. Thanks. Also I was thinking about entering my 7 month old german shepherd who loves to run and is somewhat protective. into a dog sport. But I cant make up my mind. Please tell me what sport you would choose for my dog and tell me why. Thanks

As far as what sport to get into with your dog much depends on how much time and $$ you have.
Schutzhund takes quite a large time commitment and can get expensive, though of course all sports really do between training time, equipment and going back and forth to events and training meetings.
My suggestion is to get out and see some events, Schutzhund, AKC Obedience, Herding, Tracking, etc and talk to the people about what it’s like to participate in that sport.
I had thought I was going to compete in AKC Obedience with Dante but then after a couple of classes realized I really just wanted to do it for fun
