I just stumbled across this website and I have to say I was completely revolted. Not only are they breeding “teacups”, “tiny toys”, and “tiny tiny toys”, but they’re smothering them with bows. And they say about three times on their page that “over 60 celebrities have bought puppies from us”, as if that makes everything ok.
Poor dogs. Pulled out of their puppy mill cages, groomed, and thrust into teacups and then into hands of celebrities. It’s not the only site out there like that either.
Legit: How did you discover/get interested in the breed you own today?

Urgh, poor dogs. They look as sick as anything! As if anyone would buy a dog off them in that condition. It pisses me off so bad to see dogs treated like that! I admit a used to dress up our older Rottweiler with hats and sunnies and shirts etc but i couldnt quite fit him in a tea-cup never went to he extant of trying to put him in one, giving him a crib to sleep in and dressing him up like a fictional character like Tinkerbell!. I think its digusting. Report them do something, start a hate group!!! Sick bast*ards
Those dogs are unhealthily small. Talk about joint problems!
I personally like medium-sized, happy, healthy dogs. Mutts are a plus.

Legit: For my akita, my grand parents got one and my aunt breeds them. As for my boxer mix, we just saw her at the shelter and thought she was the cutest, sweetest thing ever and we’ve loved her since then.

Legit: My first MinPin, Simon, needed to be rescued from a negligent owner, so I bought his freedom. Simon got me hooked on MinPins and I’ve rescued two more since then!

I have a bullmastiff and lab/pit/shepherd mix. I have always loved Bullmastiffs and as for the mix, no particular interest, I just wanted to adopt a loving dog!
That’s pretty horrible. It never ceases to amaze me what people will do to earn money.

They look thrilled to be covered in netting, bows, and fake chanel necklaces and shoved in a teacup. WTF is that?! Lol. They look like they know they’re dressed stupid, poor things.
I kind of stumbed upon my dog, Gracie.
I had been researching different breeds for a while and decided I wanted a Yorkie or a Maltese, but kept myself from getting one because “yappy” dogs drive me nuts.
Well, one day I was online looking at the animals rescues intake in my area and found my dogs picture (she’s a shih tzu) and, I can’t even explain it, she just spoke to me. I knew I was going to be her owner.
So I actually drove an HOUR the next day to go meet her, instantly feel in love with her, and adopted her right away. I would say it wasn’t totally impulsive since I’d been looking for a dog for about 3 months and briefly researched the shih tzu breed the night before I went to meet her. But it was weird. It’s like they say you don’t choose your dog, your dog chooses you. It’s true.
I also think she really knows I saved her life. Corny I know, but I swear she knows. =)
those dog are just runts of the the litter and theere are people stupid enough to buy them ( no offense) to anyone but the price for those dogs is just ridiculous
as for the breed that i own well on of the dogs was in need of a nw house os my dad deciding to get him he was from my dads friend so we knew sometihgn about it but it a rare breed here in USA its a 5 year old male clumber spaniel and i also have an irish setter for me those are the most beautiful and graceful dogs they are rich colored their personality is the same as the labs and goldens they rae romantic they are great kissers
but the breed that im really interested in is a skye terrier i have an”affair”with this breed i just love every piece of that dog but i cant fidn a good breeder near my area and im not sure about buying dogs oline

I was a Humane Officer for many years & saw some real horrors.
Although I agree that’s not a good thing, I can’t get real upset by it.
People to a LOT worse than that to their pets every day!
that is disgusting for one they are selling tiny tiny poodles for like $4000
dollars when people don’t even realize that tea-cup and tiny dogs arnt even real there just runts of the litter,so the stupid celebrities that brought them would have no idea how much money they are going to have to pay for there hip and joint problems.
plus all of those pearls and ribbons are just going to far i swear i have an american staffie and i brought him a little singlet and i thought i was going to far ohh well.

this actually seems pretty ligit to me from a skim. i think the decoration is a little much. and i dont think its good to have little dogs liek this. must suck for them cuz they can be confused with a gerbil. the celebs make it seem not so bad but they did advertise it so much. i liked seeing the ladys hand in the picture. i can see its a lady with a nice watch. i would prefer a real akc licensed breeder over this anyday
I like small dogs, but that is extreme. Dogs are meant for companionship, not for dress up. Why not just get a stuffed animal.
I’m getting a pomeranian soon. My aunt has always had them and they were always so peppy, sweet, and active. I loved going over there just to be with her dogs. I also had a toy poodle(about 12 lbs-not 2 lbs!) and she just recently passed away at 17 years old. I loved all the grooming that poodles take.
Thats just horrible. Those poor innocent dogs. What did they ever do to deserve that?!
Yeah just because celebrities buy puppies from them doesn’t make it okay.Those poor animals are being put through pure torture. Its depressing. I wish someone would just shut them, and all other sites like that, down. Those puppies deserve to go somewhere where they will be taken care of properly and will be kept healthy and happy. There are SOOO many people, like me, who could have given those dogs a good home. But I would NEVER buy from there because they don’t deserve money for what they are doing.
Some one needs to discover that site and find a way to do something like that. Those dogs could have a happy life with a nice loving family. How nice would that be? Instead they were given this horrible life.
You could just see the sad in their eyes. Those people need to be in jail.
I hope that someone comes across this question, and does something about it. As I would but I am sorry to say that I am too young (only 13) to do much about this.
I hope every one learns from this and NEVER buys from anywhere but a reputable breeder or even better a shelter/breed rescue.

I got my most recent dog at the pound but I wanted a lab mix. & thats what I got… Good w kids, loyal, good swimmers… all important factors.
the putting them in bows and stuff doesnt bother what does bother me is the look on thepuppies faces…they dont look happy at all infact they look soooo sad… =[

If it dies after the 3rd year of birth due to genetic causes then you have to pay 45% of the cost for the replacement of equivalent value.

My cheif thought is the contrast with the legit kennel sites with stacked pics of pups – you can’t SEE these pups for the bows, so buying them is buying a pig in a poke -they could have 3 legs & you’d never tell from those pics
I put this on the same level as those parents who parade their 3-6 year old daughters on stage in beauty contests, or whatever they call that nonsense with young girls. It’s disgusting that parents put makeup and lipstick on such young girls and then parade them around like their pieces of prime meat … the same holds true for ‘dolling’ up these pets and saying they’re cute. Nonsense .. all of it! Perhaps the owners/parents should be dressed up in ridiculous costumes and paraded through the streets of their home town … maybe get a taste of their own! Problem is, they’re so warped that they’d probably actually enjoy it!!
