I just rescued a chocolate mini poodle. She’s 2 yrs old, but has huge paws and a square muzzle. Any chance she’s really a purebread? Also, I have an 11 yr old poodle w/papers going way back in ancestry. Papers say he’s a toy, but he’s in excellent shape & weighs 14 lbs. Is he then a mini or is the “toy” designation on his papers what we go by? Just curious on both these questions. Either way, we love both dogs! My Horse Pretty much likes everything!
Apples, carrots, Bananas, Froot Loops and Nutrigrain (I’m sure she would eat just about any breakfast cereal) watermelon, chocolate…(very small amounts) grapes, crackers raisin bread….spicy chips …BBQ shapes, I don’t feed her lots of junk …but I find it funny that she wants to try whatever I’m eating. When I make dinner she’s stands at the back door begging.

I’ve had serious problems with finding a suitable puppy-food for my 5-month-old Lhasapoo puppy. Bubba is “picky” if you will, we’ve tried IAMS (which we *thought* was healthy, and now know different) and Science Diet (Which is vet reccommended – yet I’m told it’s still unhealthy?) And he will *NOT* eat either. He seriously eats like two bites a day! Recently his IAMS food ran out (halelujah) and we went new-food shopping. would this be considered its “normal” weight @ 15 weeks?

Answer by iron_wolf93Muscle weighs more than fat, and rottweilers are normally pure muscle. If he doesn’t look fat, then you’re fine. Just be sure you train him!

Hi All,
Need help regarding my kitten.
History –
- Separated from mother at about 2 days after birth. Has been reared by hand since then. Fed a diet of milk formula initially for 6 weeks, and then cerelac ( infant cereal ), rice formula. Had started her on a diet of boiled mashed fish with rice about a week back ( one meal per day, accompanied with the cerelac and milk formula in other meals of the day ).
