Question by I-love-my-son!!: I’m making a surprise birthday bbq for my sister. I’m not sure what side foods to have with the meat….help?
I’m having hamburgers,hot dogs,carne asada,chicken breasts,and just regular chicken.

Now the only “side dish” that I can think of is potato salad and I want at least two more dishes.Any suggestions?

I am throwing a backyard carnival. We are expecting about 60-75 guests. The menu right now is sliders,mini corn dogs, mini sausage & pepper sandwiches, popcorn, peanuts, cotton candy, candy apples, hot pretzels, bags of chips, nachos w/cheese sauce, cookie pops & cupcakes & fried dough. I know that sounds like enough but I feel like I need some sort of “side dish” any ideas?
