Tickets On Sale Now for Live Training Performance & Raffle

(Salem, OR) – Willamette Humane Society (WHS) is proud to welcome celebrity dog trainer Victoria Stilwell to Salem on Saturday, February 26, for a one-night-only show and live training performance at the Historic Elsinore Theatre in downtown Salem.

Born and raised in Wimbledon, England, Victoria Stilwell is one of the world’s most recognized and sought after dog trainers. She is best known for her role as the host of Animal Planet’s hit TV series, It’s Me or the Dog, through which she shares her insight for positive, reward-based training while counseling families on their pet problems. She is the author of two

best-selling books, It’s Me or the Dog: How to Have the Perfect Pet and Fat Dog Slim: How to Have a Healthy, Happy Pet and has appeared on countless talk shows and news broadcasts in the US, Europe and Asia as a dog training expert.

On Saturday, February 26, Stilwell will visit Willamette Humane Society and work with staff and shelter dogs. During the evening, she’ll share her most memorable experiences from her show, demonstrate training tips using adoptable dogs from Willamette Humane Society, and answer audience members’ questions. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Historic Elsinore Theatre in downtown Salem (located 170 High St. SE). Victoria will also be available to sign copies of her book immediately following the show.

Tickets to the Victoria Stilwell show and training performance are $22 or $35 and are available through the Historic Elsinore Box Office, by phone at 1-800-992-8499, or online at ticketswest.com. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the animals at Willamette Humane Society. Victoria’s visit is presented by Capitol Subaru and sponsored in part by Spot Magazine.

WHS is raffling off a 1-hour consultation with Victoria Stilwell! One lucky winner will get the opportunity to have Stilwell work with their dog(s) either in the home or at the shelter,* the evening of Friday, February 25. Raffle tickets for the consultation are available for $20 each and can be purchased at the shelter (located at 4246 Turner Rd SE in Salem) or by calling (503) 585-5900, ext. 324. A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold. The drawing for the consultation will be held Thursday, February 17.
